Silver vs Bronze

Image
A bronze medal winner will be happier than the silver winner. Can you guess why? Silver will feel bad and whine over missing gold. But bronze will feel glad that he at least got a medal. So the moral is... interpret yourself.

Expressing Yourself

Image
Talking doesn't mean to spill out what you want to hear yourself talking nor to speak what others are expecting to hear. Your speech by definition should have an invigorating impact on the listener. Expressing yourself doesn't mean blabbering or staggering, it should metamorphose the existing situation irreversibly.

Two friends parted ways by Sharath Chandra

Image
Two friends parted ways by Sharath Chandra They were childhood friends got acquainted with each other in native place When one is in trouble the other one defends With time their bond has become stronger with grace One took up education and the other, business He got degrees and he got riches He sacrificed years for him which he thought wiseness But later realized their friendship could have no stitches He used to scold him badly He used to take it gladly But money takes layman into an illusion Because circumstances are powerful than human One thinks money can buy education One thinks it's impossible in the world of digitalization They have got their ways parted But only one of them took it light-hearted

The Indian Business

Image
'A country won't become rich by selling to its own people.' I think we Indians have it in our DNA. From history, we can see that we always focused on spiritual power than economic power; We have famous rushi and maharshis but not famous economists and business tycoons. Our Kings had had poets in their courts but no one had sponsored any scientific research or innovation. We were busy with internal conflicts but never conquered a foreign dynasty. I think genes are so powerful; it might be the reason that even today our people think business means setting up a small outlet, getting some customers, becoming rich in their own family circle, and getting their ego satisfied. I don't know when they will understand that something can be called a significant business only when it has Exports. Newton said 'Internal forces cannot produce any acceleration.' When it's applied to business, it means that an individual or 'A country won't become rich ...

My simple request to Seeta Devi

Image
My simple request to Seeta Devi My Dear Seeta Maatha I think you have read Bhagavadgeetha It describes Kartha, Karma, and Kriya Indirectly it also said women and love both are Maaya You have loved Rama unconditionally Even when that love landed you in misery How could you do that; I get surprised occasionally Your patience; to me it's always a mystery For women, you are always a symbol of tradition But under your name, they were put in suppression I think they don't know your courage completely I read about how you terrified Ravana fiercely Girls pray Rama to give them a husband like him We ask you to give us a wife like you and solve our grim All we have are Reeta, Meeta, Bata But we need women like charismatic Seeta Our wish is strong and will be resolved Because we know that you are more evolved Their prayers to Rama are age-old and boring We will devote you and increase your scoring Jai Seeta, Jaya Seeta, Jaya Jaya Seeta  🙏 🙏 🙏 🤗 🤗 🤗 ...

Inspirational Stories

Image
Mark Zuckerberg has been referred to as an inspiration as a cliche in motivational speeches. But he is facing trials now for influencing electoral results of many Nations including the USA. Cambridge Analytica used the personal data of 50 million Facebook users to drive the election results in favour of their client and all the world on both sides of Atlantic Ocean turned furious on the social media giant. Now after all the glory, a stage has come where the trending hashtags  now are  # DeleteFacebook   # DumpFacebook . So you never know when a kingdom collapses. There were many examples in history and this is a new one. I am not judging Facebook but we praise someone indefinitely if they are a phenomenal success and then suddenly drag them down in case of a crisis. What message does that give and what's the stand you have got? I think they should stop telling students, inspirational stories; students know better than them.

Balance in Life

Image
You might be productive, but you need to switch off and just pass time sometimes. You might be emotional in relationships and a people addict but you need to be aloof and lonely sometimes to declutter your mind. You might love music but sometimes you need silence You might love travelling but sometimes you need stability and rest. You might love Love but sometimes you need to take a break and detached to rejuvenate the bonding. So whatever you do in life, your philosophy will have contradictions. "If your philosophy will have contradictions, only then you will have balance in your life." - Sharath Chandra

Uniquness

When Elon Musk is thinking about saving the Human Race in case of World War 3 and setting up bases on Moon and Mars through his company SpaceX, our entrepreneurial ideas are making rounds at Chai Corner and Dosa Planet etc. I think the main problem is we fear to think big or think extravagantly. It's hard to find funding or at least support for such thoughts. So the Chat Bhandar people earn more and eventually become an inspiration to put one Chat Centre in corporate style. E arning lakhs per month would satisfy the owner and an article in DC would make him popular and contented. We have creativity, what we lakh is courage. It's very rare to see different or unique personalities in India. Everyone is quite predictable and moreover, they won't change their way of life till death. Lack of dynamism resulted in a boring and stagnant society where all the dreams are colourful but they come out in black and white in reality. (Don't get confused with thinking big, it...

Mother's Anger

Image
Children ( in the point of view of a mother ) always take their mother for granted in any civilization. Mothers are always sacrificing, putting their children first, compassionate, understanding, and at times bearing their tantrums and abuse also. But if a mother really gets angry, no child can handle that anger because it will deep-rooted emotion kept subtle for a long time which erupts out like a volcano. Children are prepared to handle father's anger because they are habi tuated to it but no one is either prepared or ready for facing a mother's strike. I won't give any messages as it's a well-known subject but I will say - "Mothers are taken for granted by children and sometimes mothers need to go on strike to remind their value to their husbands and children".

Absolute God

Image
If we pray to God obediently, he will fulfill your wishes- this is a dialogue in practise since the Earth has formed. But the point that's either left out or deliberatley hidden under the layer of ignorance is that it's impossible even for God to satisfy everybody. If your neighbor and you both are trying for a Government job, you both prayed for God, and in the end if you get that job, your Go d becomes devil for your neighbor and vice versa. Then imagine how impossible it's for God to manage millions of people in queues at eminent Temples of masses. Inevitably one's wish will be another's anti-wish and unable to satisfy both, God cancels them on both sides like a math equation. "There is no Absolute God. Your God is your neighbor's devil and your peer's devil becomes your God" . So stop worshipping your God and start praying to your neighbor's devil. Devils will have more free time as they have not so many devotees. Stop standing...

Indian Bride

Image
The so-called elders often think about bigger prerequisites like Caste, Income, Assets, Background and Looks etc. but what if small things that are overlooked, not even considered, and not even given a thought become the biggest problems..?? What if the girl doesn't like the breath of her newly married husband or vice versa? 🤔 🤔 What if the wife doesn't like the body odour of her husband or vice v ersa?  🤔 🤔 Who is going to check these things in arranged marriages? They might look silly but become life and death questions for people who suffer. One of my friends told me that breath and body odour are the most deciding factors for a couple's compatibility and intimacy. I was intrigued by the statement. I had these doubts from childhood but her questions invoked questions and respective answers in me.

Women's Day

Image
l don't believe in any special days along with women's day but I thought of giving a sneak peek into a few interesting perspectives. Kidney Donors constitute mostly women. As much as 87 % living donors in India are women and the percentage is 90 in the US (Published in Indian Journal of Nephrology). When investigated, the reason found out was; doctors opt out male donors because there are higher chances of kidney diseases in men (They drink..) So women are cajoled into donati ng their kidneys. So to have equal rights, I advise women to start drinking... 🤔 🤗 Women are subjected to domestic violence and they hide their wounds with concealers, don't report it due to fear of losing family reputation and economic stability. Bharat Naari is taught all these by default and I won't talk much about it because it's an age-old and beaten to death topic for me. Moving on immediately... World Economic Forum reported that in coming future, the risk of los...

Indians' Travel

Image
Indians don't travel. If they are travel, they go on pilgrimages. Our elders don't know to take a break, our children are not taken to holiday vacations, newly married don't go to a honeymoon, our families don't know what is a summer trip. It's the reason they get stuck in their own small bubbles taking every small thing so seriously never having the scope to look life from a distance and explore its beauty on a voyage of adventures. Leave about rich. India has more than 80%  lower middle class and I'm talking about them. “Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colours. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.” ― Terry Pratchett, A Hat Full of Sky It's a well known a fact that Indians are very poor in travelling. We never go on trips to other countries only through which we broaden our horiz...

Indian Student

Image
I think the two main things that stop the students in India to explore novelty and creativity are 1. Lack of Financial Independence In Western countries, as I have directly seen, people start earning themselves from the age of 14. That means they are self-reliable from the start of their teenage giving them great freedom to explore opportunities and new ideas. In India, you have to finish your graduation, get a job and that would take 22 or 23 years minimum. With 10 years of gap in financial independence, our youngsters lose a lot in the journey and become anxious for money. Fear creeps all over the body if they want to try something new, quit the job, take a break, or at least invest in other's idea. 2. Lack of Marital Independence By the time one hits 25, more than the biological clock, the parental and societal clocks tick at once urging you to marry. If you ignore their warning, you are left behind in the race. It's not that easy to find your spouse your...

Convenience kills democracy

Image
Convenience kills democracy. When you are addicted to Amazon for easy shopping, Amazon becomes powerful, and it becomes easier to use Amazon. It's a cycle. The same goes for Facebook. amazon makes your body lazy by bringing products to your home and Facebook avoids you from exerting your brain by flooding you with biased information. They become monopolies and kill democracy. Then where's the scope for a small guy to compete? So convenience is the enemy of democracy and tolerance.

Strength of Mind

Image
In due course of reality, too much happy people become rattled by any small disturbance in their pond of the happy world and too much strong people turn cynical about life and be always be on their toes in an attempt to face the harsh realities of life. To illustrate; A naive person believes that all people are good and if anyone of his close friends cheats him or leaves for another city, he won't be able to digest it. A sceptical person believes that all humans are selfish a nd we need to be alert all the time to avoid getting hurt. In both cases, there will be misery. Either you miss self-reliance or you miss the emotion. But I think the real balance lies when happiness is stirred with strength. So one should ideally be happily strong or strongly happy. In other words, "Your happiness should be strong and your strength should make you happy"
